Targeted Movement and Strength

For long term pain relief and management, you need a targeted and sustainable exercise program that helps you move and strengthen the right areas of your body.

If you’ve had treatment before but not done enough of the right strengthening, you could be leaving yourself at risk of recurring pain, or potentially slowing down or stopping your recovery.

By using the right technique for the right exercises for long enough you can take control of your body, reduce pain and improve strength.

 

Yoga

There is increasing evidence that Yoga is useful for flexibility, strength, body awareness and stress relief.

It’s important to use the right technique and postures for you so that you don’t accidentally make things worse.

Understanding why it is important to reduce your stress levels and learning a variety of ways to do this, will help promote the innate healing capacity of your body, helping you to reduce stress and improve your mobility.

Emotional Awareness and management

Your body is a container for emotions. It is recognised that many conditions have an emotional or stress related component to them.

Most of us push away, resist or ignore our feelings which leaves them to build up tension in our body. This can then contribute to physical issues.

When you learn to freely feel your emotions, process and release them, you can access the innate healing potential of your body, start to feel like yourself again and enjoy life more.
